One person that had a big impact on religion in her time was Mother Teresa. Considered a saint by many, Mother Teresa dedicated her life to serving the poorest of the poor, help the dying, AIDS victims, orphans, and society’s outcasts around the world. Mother Teresa, whose original name was Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu was born in what is now called Skopje, Yugoslavia in 1910. She was the last of three children to be born into the family.
