The French Revolution
The French Revolution was much like the American Revolution, in that the people rebelled and broke away from their government. Those who rebelled against the government had a good cause; however, I strongly agree with George Washington’s argument on the French Revolution. He states “To forebear running from one extreme to another is no easy matter, and should be in the case, rocks and shoals not visible at present may wreck the vessel, and give a higher toned despotism than the one which existed before.”(George Washington).
