From Washington State to Washington D.C.: “Don’t even think about it.” That is the message from protesters to the federal government who are entreating the thought of breaching Snake River dams to aid salmon runs. Here in the Pacific Northwest salmon have become famous, but that means and increase in the demand of salmon. What began in 1992 is still undergoing some debate, and that is should we breach the dams or not all because of dwindling numbers of salmon in the Pacific Northwest.
