You who think, you know me so well.
What is it your mind tells
you that I am,
less than a man?
Am I the lost father
of an unwed daughter’s first born bastard
who will grow up to be just like me.
Did I leave her, without a care
How would you know-you weren’t there .
Am I the mother-five children, two hands
who breeds like a fly and then demands.
I watch my check rise-eight, nine hundred, ten
while my babies are starving, I’m driving my Benz.
Or am I the one
who corrupted your son.
Who made him take what wasn’t his.
The one who pulled him into the abyss
Didn’t he know
You reap what you sow?....
