Society states that math is extremely difficult and only for nerds or dorks. This is only the pessimistic view of looking at things stating “the glass is half empty.” What we need to do is take the optimistic approach and say, “the glass is half full.” By doing this we can say that individuals who excel in mathematics are intelligent persons, and being intelligent is never a negative thing. ....
