Oedipus in Sophocles' tragedy Oedipus Rex is a villain for the following reason: Oedipus judges others, Oedipus is full of arrogance, and Oedipus is a murderer.
Sophocles portrays Oedipus as a villain by showing how Oedipus judges others. For example, "Rage? Why not!
