People who experience losses due to diabetes aren't just a statistics for people to look at. They are our friends, teachers, brothers, sisters, and others that we lose if we don't learn about this deadly health problem.
In 1995, about 16 million people in the U.S. had diabetes. But only 8 million had been diagnosed with it. Isn't that scary? Over half didn't even know they had it and could slowly takeing their life by eating the wrong foods for them. The number of people that were diagnosed with diabetes has gone from 1.6 million in 1958 to 8 million in 1995 which was five times what it was. And will contuine to go up ....
