“You have just had a miscarriage” are the most disappointing and uncomfortable words a pregnant women could hear from her doctor. Once a women has went through a tragedy as this, sometimes her life changes for the worse, such as going through a period of depression. Before anyone could judge the fault of the miscarriage, they first have to know what really one means. The two terms miscarriage and abortion are currently used frequently by doctors when referring to the loss of a pregnancy from the uterus (or womb) before 28 weeks of gestation.
