ALD (Adrenoleukodystrophy) is a disease that develops in males from
the ages of 5-10 years old with a gradual disturbance in gait and slight
intellectual impairment. There is usually rapid progression with
hypotension, seizures, visual complaints, and difficulty in swallowing all
symptoms appearing within time. These children are born without the proper
enzyme to break down long chains of fatty acids. This disease is
