Nuclear weapons are the ultimate evil. They are the invention that humanity wishes it could un-invent. Their existence puts the entire world at risk. There are several attempts to limit nuclear weapons technology, testing, and possession, but all have fallen short. The world must shift its focus from a world in which we try to justify the possession of nuclear weapons, to a world where we acknowledge the fact that nuclear weapons have no place in the new millennium; nuclear abolition is our only choice.
