Movie Review of My Dinner With Andre
My Dinner With Andre is an interesting movie. It addresses such
issues as Levels of Being, Progressions, Self-awareness, and the Types of
Knowledge. In this way the content is very adequate and meaningful.
However, the way in which the director chooses to portray this incredibly
deep content is poor. The situation is two men, Wally and Andre, in a
restaurant, discussing their lives, more so Andre's experiences, over
dinner. With only one setting and no other characters that play into the
plot other than Wally and Andre, the viewer has a tendency to loose focus.
