Black Art Expo: Julian Ritter
Art is a form of non-verbal communication. It expresses a person’s
deepest, innermost feelings. Black artists can express emotions over
struggle in history with a single stroke of a brush. It is a way you can
experience black culture through African-American art. Many of these
artists should by categorized with great writers like Maya Angelou, or
Langston Hughes, because a lot of their works tell a story.
Black art has really caught my eye, so I recently attended the
Black Expo at the Palace of Auburn Hills, in Detroit, Michigan. ....
