Alberta is located in the western part of Canada. The size of Alberta is 255,285 square miles, including 6,485 square miles of water surface. Alberta is bounded on the east of Saskatchewan, on the north by Fort Smith Region, North West Territories, on the west by British Columbia and on the south by Montana.
