Liberty, justice and the pursuit of happiness – American society has prided itself on these norms since its establishment. Yet, time and again there arise movements that will insist that what we call “freedom” is simply a plot to suppress true intuition and beliefs. But what people all too often forget to realize is that moderated ‘freedom’ is a necessity that will forever hold together any sense of organization because what ‘big brother’ may have done to control us, he has also done to keep us safe and affluent.
