Hildegard of Bingen
In my first reading of Scivias, I felt that whoever this Hildegard of Bingen was, had to be someone of superd intellect and or just pure genius. So as I would later come to learn she was not only a writer, but a mystic, musician, reformer and scientist. I think from listen to Nancy Fierro that part of these great characteristics stem from her overall vision of the universe, which she saw as interconnected and which she sought to embrace. Truly she must be looked upon as a pioneer for the simple fact that she was first of all a women at a time....
