Grapes of Wrath: Summary
John Steinbeck’s the Grapes of Wrath, is a novel which tells a tale of a family and their treacherous migratory experience from Oklahoma to California in search of a solution to their life’s hardships. In the 1930’s a terrible cluster of dust clouds collected over parts of the Midwestern United States, the area formed a triangle shape from Texas to South Dakota and up to the peek of Milwaukee (French 3). These dust clouds came to be none as the Dust Bowl of the 1930’s, a phenomenon which caused many farmers to lose everything they owned, and as a result they where forced to relocate, many migrating to Califo....
