The essay "Memory and Imagination" by Patricia Hampl, is the essay that I enjoyed reading the most out of all the others. I find she is very honest in her essay. The title itself tells you that it will be about memory, but it makes you wonder about how imagination relates to it. She mentions that Sister Olive Marie’s grandfather invented the collapsible opera hat, and later on says that it was not true. It’s not something every author often admits.
