A Separate Peace: Changes
Edward “Leper” Lepellier, from John Knowles’ A Separate Peace, never showed resentment openly. He enlisted in the army during his junior year in high school, but after he saw horrific images during boot camp, he returned home. He went back to school to visit and his peers noticed a significant change in him, psychologically and socially.
