Over the years religion has had an extensive influence on many significant stipulations. However, one of the most essential obstacles, in which religion arises, is the internal battle of self-knowledge within an individual. From the novel Fifth Business by Robertson Davies, the main character, Dustan Ramsey, encounters many internal battles with himself on his journey to find the true meaning of religion.
