The Great Gatsby written by F. Scott Fitzgerald is a wonderful model to show that rich people do not live the great “life” that most people assume they do. Throughout the novel, many of the characters possess a good fortune and live rather extravagant lives. On the contrary, many times drinking, abuse, and adultery take place.
